Elementary
Elementary guidance is designed to help all students in all areas of growth and development. Classroom guidance is conducted once every two weeks in each classroom PreK-6, with specifically planned curriculum to meet the needs of all students. Standards and benchmarks are based on the American School Counselors Association Model and include lessons in three domains: Academic, Personal/Social, and Career.
Elementary Guidance Schedule:
I meet with each grade level weekly on either Monday or Tuesday.
Monday:
PreK (4 Year+) 10:30-10:50 AM
Tuesday:
Grades 3 & 4: 8:45-9:05 AM
Grades 5 & 6: 10:00-10:20 AM
Grades 1 & 2: 12:30-12:50 PM
Kindergarten: 2:20-2:40 PM

KidSource Online is the source for in-depth and timely education and health care information, this site contains resources for school personnel and parents on issues affecting children’s health from infancy through the teens. It includes information on new products, product recalls, childhood diseases, recreation, and teen issues.
National PTA Links for Parents and Other Child Advocates has an extensive resource listing compiled by the National Parent Teacher Organization which will be of definite interest to parents and educators because of the wide range of child-centered resources available here.
Tips for Parents offers suggestions to parents on such topics as: Back to School, Dealing with Bullies, Stopping School Violence, and Making Schools Safer.
Coping With National Tragedy The National Association of School Psychologists will continue to provide information to help parents, school personnel, mental health professionals, and others to assist children as they cope with the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the United States.
